Period A : We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We then had to wait until Matthew and Nerissa got here as their buses were severely late. They finally got here around 9:30 and we were able to leave for our field trip to the Scarborough Civic Centre to make loot bags for next week’s SPEEL Celebration at Sala Cabato in the west end. We took the 86 Scarborough bus to Kennedy Station. We then got on the LRT to Scarborough Centre station. From there we walked to the Civic Centre where we were met by Ms. Jack and Ms. Chee who brought us to a room where we made up the loot bags. When we were finished making the loot bags we got to eat a free Pizza lunch.
We then walked over to Scarborough Town Centre and went to the Dollar Store where Mr. Wilkens bought some classroom supplies. We then took the TTC back to school.
Period D: We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Body Scan Mindfulness exercise.
