Period A: Kanti was away today and we had Ms. Kent as our EA. Amena, Ahmed and Fahim went to their Co-op placement at Giant Tiger. They were kept busy hanging pants. The rest of us had our Mindfulness Minutes. We then did a money math activity. We began by handing out some plastic money. Then Mr. Wilkens pulled up one of our Money Math flipcharts on the IWB. We then had to come up with different amounts of money.
Period B: We met Ms. McDonald in the gym. We began by walking/running around the gym. We then played a game of Holy Moly. Then we played with a big parachute. After that we played floor hockey.
Period C: Ms. Queen was back in class today. We began by cleaning the dishes from the Maplewood Mindfulness Community Lunch. We then watched a movie called “The Wedding Singer”.
Period D: We went on a Community Walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
