Weather for Today: Partly Cloudy and Coolish….

Period A: Fahim and Brandon went to the TDSSAA Tier 3 Badminton Tournament. The rest of us had our Mindfulness Minutes. We then went to the ME Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Nerushan and Mark set the table. Amena and Rebeca peeled the potato’s with help from Ahmed and Shakur. They also cut up the salad garnish. Ahmed browned the ground beef. We made a large Sheppard’s Pie. Here is a picture of our product…
Period B: We finished up with our lunch prep. We went to a Mental Health Workshop in the Library. We heard a talk about feelings from Ms. Shaw and Mr. Treadwell. We also got to decorate a “Stress Ball” which we got to keep.
Period C: We met in the ME Kitchen and cleaned up from lunch. We then had our dessert of Fudge Brownies and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Period D: Fahim and Brandon got back from the Tournament just in time to join us on our Community Walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
