We started out our day with a short meditation sitting. We then left school for a field trip to the Richard Bradshaw Theatre where we were able to enjoy a free concert presented by the Canadian Opera Company. Today’s concert was a Indo-jazz performance by the Humber College Indo-Jazz Collective.
We took the Scarborough 86 bus westbound to Kennedy Station where we took the Line 2 subway westbound to Bloor Yonge Station. We then transferred to the Line 1 subway southbound and got off at Dundas Station. We went to the Food Court at the Eaton Centre where we ate our lunch. We then walked to Queen Street and walked from there to the Four Seasons Centre at Queen and University. We were a little late and so missed out on getting seats but it was worth it to stand and watch the excellent performance.
After the show we walked to the subway on University where we took the Line 1 subway northbound. We got off at St. George station and transferred to the Line 2 subway eastbound to Kennedy. We then got on the Scarborough 86 and came back to school.
