Weather for Today: Overcast and Cold….

Period A : Amena and Frankie went to their co-op placement at Giant Tiger. Today they hung up Spring Shorts on hangers for display on the clothing racks. The rest of began the day with our Mindfulness Minutes. We then made a menu and a shopping list. In celebration of Mardi Gras we will be having a Cajun inspired menu of Jambalaya with Hush Puppies and Cole Slaw.
Period B : When Frankie and Amena got back from co-op we went to the local No Frills to buy the groceries for tomorrow’s lunch. When we got back from the shopping trip we went to the CPC-ML to put away the groceries.
Period C: We went to the cafeteria for a special Shrove (Pancake) Tuesday assembly. We learned about the history of Shrove Tuesday and watched 5 teams compete in a Pancake Race.
Period D: We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation sitting. We did our classroom tasks.
