Period A: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We used
the Promethean Board to listen to a story. The story was called Harry the Dirty Dog .
It was about a dog that got so dirty his family didn’t recognize him ! He had a
bath though and his family realized who he was. After we had listened to the
story and answered some questions about it, we made a story map about the
story.
Period B: We went to the ME Kitchen to get the dishes for
the Maplewood Mindfulness Community lunch.
We then went to S-7 and set the table. Because we will be washing the dishes
after lunch we did our Community Walk in Period B.
After lunch we went to the Computer Lab.
Period
C: We went back to the ME Kitchen. Ahmed and Fahim went with Mr. Wilkens to S-7
to get the dishes while the rest of us set up the sinks for washing. We all had
a chance to practice our dish washing skills. We went back to Room 200 and filled in the Daily Report. We had a
Mindfulness Meditation Sit.
Period
D: We hope to finish off our Art Portfolio’s today.
