Period A: Frances and Aaliyah went to their Co-op
placement at Giant Tiger where they hung up clothes. The rest of us went to
Food School. Deandre set up the Staff Dining Room. Khina washed the dishes from
Breakfast Club. Khina also helped to make some cookies. Daidrean wrote the menu
on the whiteboard.
Period B: We had our Morning Mindfulness Minutes. We then
did our weekly Current Events activity. We choose an article from the Metro
newspaper and used it to fill our Current Events Worksheet. When we had
finished we presented our work to the class.
Period C: We used the IWB and plastic money to do a Money
Math activity. WE also did a number of Money Math worksheets.
Period D: We went for a Community Walk. We filled in the
Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
