Period A: Frances went to her Co-Op placement at Giant
Tiger. She put some sweaters, t-shirts and pants on hangers. The rest of us
went to Food School. Khina and Aaisha wrote the menu on the whiteboard. Aisha
and Daidrean cut up Green Onions for soup. Daidrean also cut up some carrots
and celery. Aaliyah and Deondre cut up beef for the soup. Deondre also set up
the Staff Dining Room, all by himself !
Period B: We had our Morning Mindfulness Minutes. We then
went to the Art Room where we painted our mugs with underglaze.
Period C: We did our weekly Drama activity. Today we
worked on a short skit called “A Walk in the Woods”. Here is a video of Frances
and Daidrean performing the skit…
To finish off our Drama we played two games of Musical
Chairs.
Period D: We went for a Community Walk. We filled in the
Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
