Period A: Frances and Aaisha wrote the menu on the
whiteboard. Frances, Aaisha and Khina iced some Carrot Cake Squares. Aaliyah
and Deandre set up the Staff Dining Room. They also put some herbs on trays to
be dried out. Daidrean washed the dishes from the morning as well as washing
the floor.
Period B: We had our Morning Mindfulness Minutes. We did
our Weekend Journal activity. We wrote in our journals some of the things we
had done over the weekend. When we were done writing we presented our work to
the class.
Period C: We used the Surface Laptop computers to log on
to IXL, a math program we will be using. Today we all did a diagnostic test to
see what our skill level was.
Period D: We went for a Community Walk. We filled in the
Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
