Period A: In class today we watched a video about
Residential Schools. We are doing a fundraising activity where we will be
selling Christmas Cards to raise money for a Residential Schools Museum. We
learned about proper hand washing and fingernail cleaning.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We had
our weekly Drama activity. We played three games of musical chairs. We then did
our circle dance activity.
Period C: We had a money math lesson. We used plastic
money to learn about the value of different coins and how to add up different amounts.
Period D: We did our classroom jobs. We filled in the
daily report. We had our daily Mindfulness Mediation sitting.
Note to Parents: Tomorrow we will be going swimming at
the YMCA. Please ensure students have swim wear and a towel.
