Period A: We continued to work on our owl doorstops.
Today we stuffed the owls with polyester pillow stuffing. We also put some
rocks in the bottom of the owl to serve as a weight.
Period B: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We then
spent the first part of the period taking down the Halloween decorations from
the classroom. We then wrote in our weekend journals.
Period C: We went outside into the community to deliver
the Bluffs Monitor Community newspaper. When we got back to class Mr. Wilkens
gave us some freshly baked Cinnamon buns. They were delicious !
Period D: We all got new classroom jobs assigned to us
for the month of November. We then did our classroom jobs. We filled in the
daily report. We had our daily Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
Note to Parents: Students are going to Special Olympics
Track and Field Event at Variety Village tomorrow. Please ensure students have
running shoes, gym wear and a towel as well as a litter less lunch that does
not require reheating.
