Daily Report for Tuesday May 7th 2019

Weather for Today: Overcast and Warm…

We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We then went on our Field Trip to High Park. We took the 905 Express bus to Kennedy Station. We got on the Line 2 subway westbound to High Park station. From there we walked to High Park. Unfortunately, we were perhaps one or two days early for the Cherry Blossoms. There were some blossoms on the trees, but not a lot.

The Forsythia was in full bloom though, here is a picture of the class in front of a large forsythia bush.

After checking out the Cherry Blossoms we walked to the High Park Zoo where we got to see some different animals like Mountain Sheep, Bison, a peacock and some Llamas. We sat down and had our picnic lunch of Buffalo Wing Wraps and Mediterranean Chickpea Salad.

We then walked through the park back to High Park station where we took the TTC back to school.

We finished off the day by filling in the Daily Report and having a short Meditation sitting.
