We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We then went on our field trip to Thompson
Park and the Scarborough Museum. We walked up Galloway to Lawrence where we got
on the Lawrence 54 bus. We got off the bus at Brimley and walked to the Museum.
We had a very educational experience at the museum. Our guide, whose name was Tristan,
took us around the three buildings that make up the museum. We learned a lot
about what life was like for the early settlers in Scarborough.
After the informative tour of the museum we ate our lunch at a picnic table in the park. We then went for a walk around Thompson Park. We ended up at what was the oldest church in Scarborough, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Right next to the church was a cemetery which had graves dating back to the early 1800. We then walked out to McCowan Rd. where we caught McCowan 16 bus the Lawrence where we transferred to the Lawrence 54A bus which brought us back to Galloway where we walked back to school….just in time for Period D.

be bisque fired in the kiln we started on a new clay project, Ceramic Pizza’s.
