Period A: Mr. Wilkens was away at a dental appointment so
we had an on call teacher, Mr. Gocool. Fahim, Ahmed and Emily went to their
co-op placement at Giant Tiger. The rest of us began with our Mindfulness
Minutes. We then did our Weekend Journal activity.
Period B: We met Ms. Queen in S-7. We set the table for
the Maplewood Mindfulness Community Lunch. We then continued work on our Hand
Puppets.
Period C: We had two special events this afternoon. We
began with a workshop called Get Real. It was about inclusion and acceptance.
We then went to the Cafeteria where we enjoyed a Jazz Concert put on by college
students from Humber College.
Period
D: We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation Sit.
Note to Parents : We will be going swimming at the YMCA
tomorrow. Please ensure that students have swim wear and towel.
