Period A: Ahmed, Fahim and Emily went to their new Co-op
placement at Giant Tiger. They hung up clothes to at the back of the store so
it can be put on display in the front of the store. The rest of us began with
our Mindfulness Minutes. We were then joined by Ms. Kahja’s class with whom we
planted some Rosemary, Parsley, Basil and Thyme which we will be using in our
Planter Project.
Period B: We went to the ME Kitchen where we got the
plates, cups and cutlery to set up the Maplewood Mindfulness Community Lunch.
We then went to S- 7 and set the table. Ms. Queen showed us the pillows that we
will be making covers for. We then started a new project, a multi media piece
using water colours, popcorn and fabric.
Period C: We met in S-7 and collected the dishes from the
lunch. We took them to the ME Kitchen to clean them. We then went back to class
where we did some numeracy work on the Promethean Board.
Period
D: We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation Sit.
Note to Parents : We will be going to the YMCA tomorrow.
Please ensure students have gym clothes.
