Period A: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We were
joined by Ms. Kahja’s Grade 11 Science class with whom we will be doing a
special project together. We are going
to be making some ceramic planters and growing some herb’s to plant in them.
Today we introduced ourselves and had a discussion about the project we will be
beginning tomorrow.
Period B: We met Ms. Queen in S-7. Ms. Queen told us
about what we will be doing in her course this year. She also talked about
going on a Field Trip to High Park this
coming Monday May 1st.
Period C: We went to the ME Kitchen as our classroom was
being used for Promethean Board training. We wrote in our Weekend Journal about
what we had done over the weekend. Ahmed, Fahim and Emily had a meeting with
Mr. Wilkens and Ms. Cameron about their upcoming Co-op placement at Giant Tiger
that they will be starting tomorrow.
Period
D: We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation Sit.
