The Weather Today was: Sunny and Warm !......

In Class Today:
Period 1: We began the period by watching a movie. We
then got to sing songs of our choice that Mr. Jones called up on the computer.
Period 2: We started work on the act we will be doing for
the year end assembly. We are working with Ms. Appleton and Mr. Ayeung’s class
to put on a Black Light Show. Today we watched a video of Mr. Wilkens class
from three years ago when they put on the same show, a medley of Aquarius/Let
the Sunshine In and Where Have All The Flowers Gone. After we watched the video
we were assigned our roles for the act. We then went to the cafeteria where we
loaded up on healthy foods from the free lunch provided by the Lasagna Club. We
all enjoyed our free lunch. (except for Jaran, who does not like salad ! )
Period 3: We went to a special presentation by a public
health nurse called Rethink the Drink. We learned about how unhealthy pop and
energy drinks are and that we should drink more water and milk. It was an
informative presentation that will help us to make healthy choices in the
future.
Period 4: We did our classroom jobs. We filled in the
daily report. We had our daily meditation sitting.
Note to Parents: Lunch Program tomorrow. Send no lunch.
