Daily Report for Thursday February 26th 2015


The Weather Today was: Overcast and Cold…..

LOW : -18°C                 HIGH : -10°C                P.O.P. : 30%

In Class Today:

Period 1: In period 1 today we worked on preparing our lunch. We had Grilled Cheese Sandwich’s, Garden Salad and Tomato Soup. Aaron opened and emptied the Tomato soup. Laven , Robert, Stafhan and Kabilan cut up the vegetable garnish for the salad. Ralph washed and spun the lettuce for the salad. Ibby and Shagee set the table. Period 2: When we had finished our lunch prep we all worked on our current event activity. At 10:30 we were called down to the library for the final Mental Health workshop of the month. Today’s workshop was on resilience or how we can bounce back from stress and adversity. We watched a video and then did some different activities like making Thank You cards and making healthy snacks. Here are some pictures of us at the workshop….



Then we went back to class to eat our lunch. Here is a picture of us eating our delicious lunch…

Period 3: We had a busy day again in the food school. Most of us were peeling and prepping garlic, onions and carrots. Ibby and Ralph helped to clean up and put away the cutlery.

Period 4: We did our classroom jobs. We filled in the daily report. We had our daily meditation sitting.



Note to Parents: Field Trip to Ripley’s Aquarium tomorrow. Students should bring a bagged lunch that does not require heating.
