Weather for Today: Overcast and Cool…

High:   7 °C           LOW :   3°C          P.O.P. :   30%

 

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our daily Calendar activity. Kimmauny, Isaac and Prachurya went to S-6 to help push wheelchairs. The rest of us helped to set up the classroom for the Holiday season.

Period B: We did a physical education activity using the Whiteboard. We continued with the Holiday setup.

Period C: We did more setting up our classroom for the holidays. We filled in the Daily Report.  We had a Mindfulness sitting.

Period D: We went to our gym class with Mr. Persaud where we did some static and dynamic stretches and played Challenger Baseball.

Weather for Today:

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our daily Calendar activity. We had some free time to do our preferred educational activities.

Period B: We went to the library where Ms. Gillis read us three books, Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, and Be Me.

Period C: We went for a community walk. We filled in the Daily Report.  We had a Mindfulness sitting.

Period D: Mr. Persaud was away today. Mr. Wilkens was covering for him. We did an exercise activity using the Whiteboard.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to S-10 where we made braided bracelets with the Leadership class. We did our daily Calendar activity.

Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen where we began the food preparation for Thursday’s African Feast/Isaac’s Birthday Celebration/ Alumni Lunch. Today we worked on Red Stew, a special food that is served in Ghana and Nigeria.

Period C: We went for a community walk. We filled in the Daily Report.  We had a Mindfulness sitting.

Period D: We went to our gym class with Mr. Persaud. We went for another Community walk and then we did some"Cosmic" Yoga in the Yoga Room.

Weather for Today: Sunny and Coldish….

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our daily Calendar activity. We did our Weekend Journal Activity.

Period B: We went to the library to return and check out some books. Ms. Gillis read us a story titled Something from Nothing.

Period C: We went to Adoni, an African grocery store, to buy ingredients for Thursday’s African Feast. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness sitting.

Period D: We went to our gym class with Mr. Persaud, where we did

some static and dynamic stretches and then practiced our basketball skills.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our brunch. We had French Toast, Pancakes, Scrambled eggs, Bacon, Halal sausage and Orange Juice.

Period B: We continued to work on our food preparation.

Period C: We filled in the Daily Report. We had Mindfulness sitting.

Period D: We went to our gym class with Mr. Persaud

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our daily Calendar activity. We did an art activity for Indigenous Month.

Period B: We made a menu for tomorrow’s Lunch Program lunch. We will be having breakfast for lunch (AKA Brunch). We then made a shopping list.

Period C: We went for a community walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We had Mindfulness sitting.

Period D: We went to our gym class with Mr. Persaud

Period B: We did a cooperative Drama activity. We then created a menu for Thursday’s lunch program meal. We will be having Nigerian food.

Period C: We filled in the Daily Report. We had Mindfulness sitting.
