Period A: Aaisha and Aaliyah wrote the menu on the
whiteboard. Frances and Khina set up the staff dining room. Deandre, Daidrean, Aaliyah and Aaisha made a dipping sauce and put it into containers. Frances
also washed some carrots. Maryam made a spice mixture.
Period B: Mr. Wilkens was in a training session for the IWB.
We had a supply teacher for the period. We did a Current Events Activity. We
cut out a picture from the Metro Newspaper and pasted it on to our worksheet.
We then filled in the answers to the questions on the worksheet. When we had
finished we presented our work to the class.
Period C: We continued working on our “My Heritage”
projects. Today we were able to do Aaisha, Khina and Maryam’s projects.
Period D: We went for a Community Walk. We filled in the
Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
