Daily Report for Wednesday October 17th 2018



Weather for Today: Overcast and cool…

High:  8°C           LOW :  3°C                   P.O.P. :  100%

Period A : We all helped to put together a catering order of Fruit Salad. We made almost 200 cups of Fruit Salad. Amena and Rebeca cut up some strawberries and apples. Daidrean put some marinated meat strips on a tray.

Period B : We met in the ME Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today we made Nigerian food. We made Jollof  Rice, a Vegetable stew and a beef dish called Suya which was seasoned beef cut into thin strips and broiled. Amena and Rebeca cut up some sweet peppers and tomatoes. Mark and Brandon set the table. Fahim cut up some chicken and cooked the Jollof rice. Vivian did a great, if tearful, job of cutting up some onions. Frankie cut up some celery. Daidrean peeled and cut up some carrots. Matthew cut up some potatoes and mushrooms.

Period C: We all helped to clean up the dishes and the kitchen. Vivian, Brandon and Matthew did an exceptional job washing the dishes. Frankie did an amazing job cleaning the stoves. When we were done cleaning up we all sat down to enjoy our dessert of Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce.


Period D: We went for a Community Walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
