Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to the
ME Kitchen to make some Gingerbread Bears & Men. First we rolled out the
dough that Mr. Wilkens had made. We then used some Cookie Cutters to cut out
our gingerbread figures.
Period B: We began with a Money Math activity using the
IWB. Then we began to create a new IWB flipchart that will let us sort
different types of waste into the appropriate container, either a Green(
Organics) Bin or a Blue Bin ( recyclables ) or a Black Bin ( Garbage ).
Period C: We went to the ME Kitchen and decorated our Gingerbread Figures with Royal Icing. We then had the dessert we did not have time to eat yesterday. We had Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream and Chocolate sauce. When we had finished we went back to the classroom where we filled in the Daily Report. We had no time
for anything else.
Period D: We met Mr. Stolte in S-16. We are finishing our
Paper Mache birds and butterflies.
Note to Parents : We will be going on a field trip to the
DD Winter Dance at Birchmount Collegiate on Monday.
