Period A: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. We went
to the ME Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Joel and Mark set the table and made
the apple juice. Ahmed and Shakur
cleaned and sliced the mushrooms. Fahim and Rebeca cut up the carrots and the
Bok Choy. Matthew, Nerissa and Emily cut up the celery, sweet peppers and onions.
Period B: We continued with our lunch prep. Today’s meal
of Stir Fry Chicken and Vegetables required a lot of prep! We helped Mr.
Wilkens to make the Chocolate Icing and ice the chocolate cake. We then watched
Mr. Wilkens cook the Stir Fry, the Chow Mein Noodles and the rice. We began
eating our lunch a little early so that we had time to start the clean up.
After we finished our lunch and did a little cleaning we
went to the Free Style Singing Club where we practiced singing “Jingle Bells”.
Period C: Mr. Watson was away again today and we had Mr.
Sikorski as our Occasional Teacher. We met him in S-18 and then went back to
the ME Kitchen where we finished cleaning up and then had our dessert of
Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream. We also sang “Happy Birthday to Matthew. We went back to S-18 where we played with robots, Lego and Checkers and tried to watch a movie, but there was a problem with the TV.
Period
D: We went for a Community Walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We had
our Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
