Period A: Emily and Joel went to their Co-op placement at
Dollarama at Cederbrae Mall for the first time this morning. They both worked at
moving merchandise to the front of the shelves. The rest of us began with our Mindfulness
Minutes. We then watched a video about the history of Halloween. We learned that
Halloween comes from a pagan holiday called Samhain. We then played a Halloween
Hangman game and created a Halloween Crossword puzzle.
Period B: We met Mr. Infinity inS-23. Today we worked on
individual educational programs.
Period C: Today we had our first Hatha Yoga session. Mr.
Wilkens did his best to lead us in some basic poses. When we had done four postures
we did a Body Scan mindfulness exercise,
Period D: We went for a Community Walk. Just as we got
back from the walk there was a Fire Drill. It was a good thing we had our coats,
as it was pretty cool outside. We then had just enough time to fill in the
Daily Report.
