Period A: We began with our Mindfulness Minutes. Mr.
Wilkens then gave us a little review as to how to sit in meditation. We then
watched a couple of short video’s on the benefits of meditation. We then went
to S-6 to help set the table for the lunch time meeting of the Maplewood
Mindfulness Community. When we got back to class we did some money math activities
on the Promethean Board.
Period B: We met Mr. Infinity in S-23. We played a
computer game that helped us learn how to navigate with the mouse. We then had
time to work on individual educational programs.
Period C: Ms. McDonald took Nerissa and Rebecca to S-6 to
help with the dishes from the mindfulness meeting. The rest of the class worked
on some puzzles on the Promethean Board. When the girls got back from S-6 we
had our weekly Drama activity. We played two games of musical chairs and then
did our Circle Dance activity.
Period D: We went for a walk around the school. We filled
in the daily report. We had our daily Mindfulness Meditation sitting.
