In Class Today:
Period 1: The class went to the library for a special presentation
on the Passport Mentoring Initiative. This is a program which will help us
explore ideas for our future after leaving Maplewood. We received an
application form which we are bringing home so our parents can help us fill it
out. We then did our weekly trip to No Frills to buy the groceries for Thursday’s
lunch. We bought a turkey, some potatoes as well as some frozen corn. We will
be having a delicious Easter Luncheon on Thursday.
Period 2: We got back from our trip to No Frills half way
through the period. This left us plenty of time for our weekly Drama
activities. We played a few games of Musical Chairs and ten we did the circle
dance activity.
Period 3: We had a busy day in Food school today. Some of
us cut up a variety of vegetables while others helped to clean up. At the end
of the period we once again got a special treat, this time it was delicious
Chilli Fries !
Period 4: We did our classroom jobs. We filled in the
daily report. We had our daily meditation sitting.

Mentoring Initiative. Please help your son to fill in the appropriate
information.
