In Class Today:
Period 1: We went for our weekly visit to the Computer
Lab. We spent the period working on various educational programs.
Period 2: Today we had our weekly spelling test. This week’s
spelling words were about sports. The whole class did very well ! Almost everybody got a perfect score of 11 out of 11. After
we finished the test we went on the Promethean Board and investigated foods
from different ethnic origins. Today we looked at food from Sri Lanka and
Jamaica.
Period 3: After coming back to class to do our dental
hygiene we went to the art room. In art today some finished off our Stained
Glass drawings. We also watched a video about foxes and other desert animals.
Period 4 : We did our classroom jobs. We filled in the
Daily Report. Then we finished off our week with a meditation sitting.
Note to Parents: We will be going to the YMCA on Monday.
We will be going swimming so students will need to bring swim wear and a towel.
