In Class Today:
Period 1: Ms. Vorobej was away today. We had Ms. Z for a
supply teacher. We all did worksheets on Weights and Measurements.
Period 2: Aaron and Laven set the
table for the Maplewood Mindfulness Community Lunch. We wrote in our journals
what we did over the long weekend. Then we presented our journals to the class.
We also wrote out our spelling words for the week. When we had finished we had
time for a short Drama activity. We played two games of Musical Chairs, Stafhan
won both games !
Period 3: We did our dental hygiene. Aaron and Robert
loaded the dishwasher with the dishes from the Mindfulness lunch. Meanwhile the
rest of us started on our Current Event activity. When we had all finished our worksheets,
we presented our findings to the class. Even though it was raining a bit, we
went for a walk. The leader of the group this time was Kabilan.
Period 4: When we got back from our
walk we filled in the daily report. Then we had our regular meditation sitting.
