In Class Today: Supply Teacher Mr. Banks
Period 1: Discussion: What we had for dinner last night. We
used the smart board to watch a video about how we get maple syrup. Mr. & Mrs.
Banks saw this with our 4 year old grandson at Bruce’s Mill, a conservation
area. Maple Syrup taste very, very good! It is delicious on pancakes and many
different things. We also saw a video on how to make homemade maple syrup.
Period 2: Art Activity: Students had to glue colored tissue
onto paper and made beautiful blossoms.
Period 3: Personal hygiene: Brushing teeth. Students did
their classroom jobs. We finished a get well card, with colorful tulips and a class picture wishing Mr. Wilkens to come back soon.

The entire class hid on Ms. Shanna then Ms. Danette said class was cancelled, but it was just a big April Fool’s joke J We worked on our safety booklet, cutting and pasting different slipping and tripping hazards, then we played a safety matching game on the Promethean board.
