Today’s Date:

The Weather Today was:
Overcast
and Cold, High: -8 Low: -9 P.O.P.: 30%
In Class Today:
Period 1: Curtis, Taylor and
Mr. Wilkens went to a Swim Meet at Bendale B.T.I. Markeisha, Arqum , Meagan and
Spencer were away so that left only two students in the class ! Julian and
Jessica prepared the Lunch Program meal
of Pizza and Caesar Salad. We made an extra pizza so Taylor could have it for
lunch tomorrow.
Period 2: We finished off
preparing our pizza and salad then we got to work on various activities on the
Promethean Board. After that we started watching a movie called Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
Period 3: First we finished
watching the movie. We cleaned up from making lunch. Then we did our classroom
jobs. Which left us just enough time for a sitting.
Period
4: We started out by reviewing what we had learned yesterday. Then we went
to S-15 to work on posters advertising our Photo Booth.
Meanwhile at
the Swim Meet…
The Maplewood Swim Team was a roaring success !
Taylor came in third in his race and Curtis came in second in his race. Here
are some videos of our fantastic swimmers…

While Curtis backstrokes his way to Second place !
Tomorrow
we will: Be
watching some of the Opening Ceremonies for the Winter Olympics. We will also
begin working on some Olympic activities.
