In Class
Today:
Period 1: We went to the Art Room where we began work on our latest ceramic
project. We are making ceramic plates for Valentine’s Day. Today we cut out the
clay and put it on plate molds. Next week we will begin the decoration.
Period 2: We prepared the ingredients to make beef stew for tomorrow’s Lunch
Program. Curtis and Spencer peeled the potatoes. Markeisha, Jessica and Megan
peeled and cut up the carrots. Taylor was especially busy, he prepped the celery,
cut up the potatoes and the turnip. Arqum cut up the onions and helped to brown
the beef. We will be eating a delicious stew tomorrow !
At Lunch time Jessica went to Dance Club practice
with Ms. Duffin.
Period 3: The gym was being used for a Girls Regional Volleyball Tournament. So we
went for our weekly Power Walk one day early.
Period 4: We did our
classroom jobs, filled in the Daily Report then had a Meditation Sitting.
Tomorrow we will: Be
having delicious Beef Stew for Lunch !
