Todays Date: Monday Sept.16th./13
The Weather Today was :
Sunny, High 14, Low 6 P.O.P.: 30%
In Class Today
Period 1: We did Yoga with Mr. Tipoff in the Gym.
Period 2: We did a Literacy Activity. Jessica read How Leo Learned to Be A King. Then we did a music activity where we learned to sing The Beatles Song: Let It Be. Then we did our Daily Physical Activity, a walk around the school grounds.
Period 3: In Bakeshop Taylor, Jessica and Curtis sold Chocolate Chip Cookies, Carrot Cake, Whole Wheat Bread and whole Wheat Buns. The rest of the class worked on dipping Honey Oaties in chocolate.
Period 4: We did our classroom jobs, then we had a Meditation sitting.
Tomorrow we will: Work on our Ceramic projects, do a Drama activity.
Todays Date: Tuesday Sept.17th./13
The Weather Today was :
Sunny and Clear, High 16, Low 10 P.O.P.: 10%
In Class Today
Period 1: We went to the Art Room and finished making our Ceramic candleholders. One of our kiln’s is broken, so it might be a while till Mr. Wilkens can bisque fire them…..
Period 2: We did our Drama activity, we played musical chairs, Circle Dance and Guess the Animal. Then we went outside for a walk for our Daily Physical Activity.
Period 3: In Bake Shop today Markeisha and Spencer mixed Chocolate Chip Cookie dough. Megan, Taylor and Jessica portioned out cookies. Curtis, Julian and Arqum measured out ingredients for Honey Oaties.
Period 4: We completed our classroom jobs, filled in our daily report and had a meditation sitting.
Tomorrow we will: Plan our menu for Lunch Program and do some Numeracy and Literacy activities.

Todays Date: Wednesday Sept.18th/13
The Weather Today was :
Sunny and Warm High 21, Low 13 P.O.P. : 10%
In Class Today
Period 1: We walked to No Frills to buy the grocerys for tomorrow’s Lunch Program. We bought eggs, potatoes, bread, O.J. onions, pancake syrup.
Period 2: We walked back from No Frills, put away the grocery’s then did a numeracy activity, Addition Worksheets.
Period 3: The whole class made Apple Pies. We washed and peeled the apples. We sliced and cored the apples then portioned out individual pies. We will get to take the pies home !
Period 4: We did our classroom jobs, then filled in our Daily Report. We must be getting better at all this because we had time for a 20 minute sitting !
Tomorrow we will: Cook breakfast for Lunch ! (AKA Brunch) and hopefully bake off our pies in Bakeshop.

Todays Date: Thursday Sept.19th/13
The Weather Today was :
Very Warm and Humid, Partly Cloudy, High 21, Low 15 P.O.P : 20%
In Class Today
Period 1: We made Breakfast for Lunch ! Curtis made Scrambled eggs, Megan made pancakes and helped with French Toast. Arqum made Home Fries, Jessica and Spencer helped. Julian and Curtis set the table.
Period 2: We continued with Lunch prep. And did some clean up. Then we ate @ 11:00. Our new Principal Mr. Knight made a surprise visit and joined us for lunch !
Period 3: Markeisha, Curtis, Arqum and Spencer sold Raisin Bread and Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Megan, Jessica and Julian cleaned in the Bakeshop.
Period 4: We did our classroom jobs, ate our desert of Cinnamon Buns then only had time for a short sitting.
Tomorrow we will: Go to the Terry Fox Kick off Assembly, work in the computer lab and hopefully have time for a nice long walk.

In Class Today
Period 1: We went to the Computer Lab where we checked the Weather Forecast then practiced our puzzle solving skills @ Jigzone.com.
Period 2: We went to the Terry Fox Kick Off Assembly.
We heard a very inspirational message about a Canadian Hero, Terry Fox, and we learned about how our school hopes to raise $1000.00 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
Period 3: Julian, Jessica, Spencer and Taylor sold Baked Goods while Curtis, Arqum, Megan and Markeisha cleaned up in the Bakeshop.
Period 4:We did our classroom jobs, filled in our Daily Classroom Report, then did our Daily Meditation practice.
On Monday we will: Be having a short day schedule because of a School Staff Meeting and Professional Learning Community. We will be going home around 12:30.
