Weather for Today: Partly Cloudy and Cold

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We did our calendar activity. We worked on various worksheets.

Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen to continue preparing food for tomorrow's Alumni Lunch. Today, we made the meatballs. When we finished, we returned to class and played a Kahoot about Kitchen Hygiene and Safety.

Period C: We went for a Community Walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness Practice.

Period D: We went to the Art Room to begin a new Ceramics project.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We did our calendar activity.

We worked on the Lexia literacy program.

Period B: We went to the Library. We signed out some books. Ms. Gillis read us a story about Walter the farting dog.

We played a game of SkipBo, which Ms. Gillis won.

Period C: We watched a video about May Day. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness Practice.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We did our calendar activity. We wrote in our Weekend Journals.

Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen, where we began the food prep for our special day on Thursday. We will be hosting an alumni lunch, and former students will be joining us for lunch. We will be having spaghetti and Meatballs with Garlic Bread and Caesar Salad.

Period B: We went to the library and played three UNO games. Ms. Benyarko won a game, and Ms. Craig won two games.

Period A: Today was a Special Fun Day! We played a game of Floor Snakes and Ladders. We then went to the Gym where we played bowling.

Period B: We continued our Fun Day. We went to the Library where we did a Scavenger Hunt. The last game we played was in the Partnership Room, where we played a Kahoot game about the teachers here at Maplewood.

Period C: We went for a Community Walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness Practice.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We did our calendar activity. We went to Room S-10 to do an Earth Day activity. We made Earth Day Necklaces. Here is a video of making the necklaces...

Period B: We went to the Library. Ms. Gillis read us two stories. Then we made some beadwork bracelets.

Period C: In honour of Earth Day, we went outside to clean up around the school property. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness Practice. Here is a video of us doing the cleanup.

Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. This week, in honour of Greek Heritage month, we made Moussaka.

Period C: We returned to the kitchen to do the dishes and clean up. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness Practice.

Period C: Today we started a new activity. We will be writing daily in a journal where we will write about our activities for the day. We did the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness exercise.
