Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today we had Sheppards Pie. It was delicious!

Period B: We finished our lunch prep. We then went to a special event, the Halloween Carnival. We had a lot of fun there.

 

Period C: We went to another special event, the Halloween Dance! for a Community walk. We filled in the Daily Report. 

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We did our calendar activity. We worked on some Numeracy worksheets.

Period B: We went to the front foyer to look at the Pumpkins that each class made for the Pumpkin Contest. Here is a video of the various pumpkins.

Weather for Today: Rainy and Cool

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We did our calendar activity. We worked on some Numeracy worksheets.

Period B: We went to the Library, listened to a story about a Trick-or-Treating Turkey, and signed out some library books.

Period C: We went for a Community walk. We went to the Greenhouse where we watered our plants and planted some flower bulbs. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness exercise.

Period B: We worked on our Weekend Journal. We presented our journals to the class. We began work on our classroom pumpkin.

Period C: We went for a Community walk, filled in the Daily Report, and did a Mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare the food for our Alumni Lunch We were very busy.

Period B: We continued to work on preparing our lunch.

Weather for Today: Partly Cloudy and Cool

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to the cafeteria for the Terry Fox Wrap Up Assembly. The school raised $2000.00 for the foundation ! Because we raised so much money we got a number of rewards. The first was that the Principal and Vice-Principal dressed up as Minions..

The next reward was watching teachers get whip cream pies in the face…

Another reward was watching two teachers take an ice cold bath!...

Period B: We went to the kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today we had Perogies and Coleslaw.

  

Period C: We celebrated Freddies birthday with a Strawberry Cake. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We went to the library to have our school pictures taken. We did our calendar activity. We worked on our Weekend Journal.

Period B: We continued work on our Weekend Journal. When we had finished we presented our journals to the class. 

Period C: We All sang

to Mr. Wilkens. We had some birthday cake. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan. Today we

started on a Toilet Paper Roll Turkey.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We talked about what we did over the weekend. We went to the library. Some of us played a game called SkipBo. Aniyah, Freddie and Ayesha worked on some puzzles.

 

Period B: We did a Yoga exercise. 

 

Period C: We delivered the Bluffs Monitor Community Newspaper in the

            Neighbourhood.

        We filled in the Daily Report.

We did a Mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today Mac and Cheese, Chefs Salad and freshly baked French Bread.

Period B: We continued with lunch prep. When we finished we returned to the classroom and played a Kahoot about Heygine and Sanitation in the kitchen. 

Period C: We went for a walk around the school. We filled in the Daily Report. We did not have time for a Mindfulness exercise.

Period B:  We went to the library where we signed out some books. Ms. Gillis read us two stories, one about mud pies and another one about a tailor who made different things out of a blanket. Then Salmaan read a story he wrote. The story was called Two Brothers.

Period C: We went for a walk around the school. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.
