Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We did our Calendar Activity. We wrote in our Weekend Journal.Plant Parts

Period B: We presented our Weekend Journals. We watched a video about the Parts of Plants . We had a test on the parts of plants. 

Period C: We had a walk around the school. We did our Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness activity.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today we had breakfast for lunch otherwise known as Brunch.

Period B: We continued with Lunch prep and then we played a Kahoot on cooking.

Period C: We did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Period B: We wrote in our weekend journal. We presented our journal to the class.

Period C: We went for a walk around the school. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a mindfulness exercise.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We went to the library. Some of us played SkipBo, which Maya won, Ayesha and Ms Syed played Uno, Aniyah scribbled in her notebook and Kabeesan did a puzzle. Here is a video of us playing SkipBo...

Period B: We did a session of Yoga with Adriene

Period C: We went for a walk around the school. We will be allowed to leave school property once all of our parents have filled in the appropriate permission form. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Weather for Today: Sunny and Warm

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today we had Spaghetti and meatballs, Caesar Salad, Garlic bread and freshly baked Apple Pie with ice cream for dessert.

Period B: We continued to prep our lunch. When we had finished the prep we went back to our classroom where Maya led the the class in a Kahoot game.

Period C: We went back to the kitchen to do the dishes and clean up. We went back to class where we did a mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to the library for the Terry Fox Kick-off Assembly. We learned about the Terry Fox Run for Hope.

Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen where we made some Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. Here is a video of us portioning out the cookie dough...

Period C: We went for a walk around the school. We will be allowed to leave school property once all of our parents have filled in the appropriate permission form. We filled in the Daily Report. We did a mindfulness exercise.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle Time. We did our Calendar activity. We worked on our new Numeracy Worksheets booklets.

Period B: We went to the Library. Ms Gillis read us a book about a farting dog named Walter. We signed out some library books.

Period C: We went to the Community Kitchen to make some Mango Lassis. The lassis were delicious! We filled in the Daily Report. We did a mindfulness exercise.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

We had an extra long Circle Time.

We talked about what we had done

over the weekend.

Mr. Wilkens asked us questions

about our weekend so we could do a

good job on the Weekend Journal.

Period B: We wrote in our Weekend Journal.

When we had finished writing in our

journals we presented them to the class.  

Period C: We went for a walk around

the school. We will be allowed to leave

of our parents have filled

( Picture Day was cancelled today. It will be rescheduled ASAP. A lot of us dressed well today so we took a class picture...)

 

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to the library to play some games. Freddie and Yusuf both won the card game, Skipbo.

At the morning announcements, some of us helped Mr. Ellis sing the Sweet Corn Song to let everyone know about this afternoons Corn Roast.

Period B: We had a Yoga session where we followed the instructions from an online Yoga teacher. Yoga with Adriene

Period C: We filled in the Daily Report. We went outside for the Annual Maplewood Corn Roast.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today we had Grilled Cheese sandwiches, homemade Chicken soup and Chefs Salad.

Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen to make some Smoothies. We made the smoothies with orange juice, frozen bananas, frozen fruits and Halal yoghurt. 

Period C: We went for a walk around the school, and we filled in the Daily Report. We did a Mindfulness exercise.

Period B:  Janet, the school Social Worker presented a social story about what happened last week when Mr. Infinity passed away. We continued work on our weekend journals.

Period C: We presented our weekend journals to the class. We went for a tour of the greenhouse. We went for a walk around the school. We had a mindfulness session.

Period D: We had Art with Mr.  Juan.

Period B: We did some Yoga exercises using the Whiteboard. We did so well at this that 

Mr. Wilkens let us have free time.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our calendar activity. We worked on some numeracy worksheets.

 

Period B: A social worker came into our class to talk about what happened yesterday. A regrettable occurrence happened. One of our teachers, Mr. Infinity, passed away. The social worker told us that support was available to us, if we needed it. We then continued to develop a list of classroom rules and expectations.

 

Period C: We went for a walk around the school. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a mindfulness sitting.

 

Period D: Mr. Juan came to our class and did some art activities with us.
