Weather for Today: Partly Cloudy and coolish…

 

High:   16 °C    LOW :   7°C  P.O.P. :   30%  

         Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle time.We did our daily Calendar activity. We worked on numeracy activities. 

        Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen where we prepared our lunch. Today we had Spaghetti Bolognese and Fettucine Alfredo with Caesar Salad and Garlic Bread.

          Period C: We went back to the kitchen where we cleaned up and did the dishes. Then we went back to class and filled in the Daily Report. We had a mindfulness sitting. 

Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim.

Weather for Today: Coolish and Sunny

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had circle time. We did our daily Calendar activity.  Ms. Barwell showed us how to use the Lexia Literacy Program.

Period B: We went to a practice for the Cross Country Meet that we will be going to next week.

We went to the Art Room where we glazed our Pumpkin Tea Lite Candle Holders.

Period C: We worked together on a literacy game on the IWB. We then used the Lexia program to work individually on our literacy skills.

 Period D: We went for a community walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness sitting.

   Period A: Yusef, Kimmauny, and Christian went to the Special Olympics Soccer tryouts for the day. We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle time. We did our daily Calendar activity. 

Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today, in honour of Freddie’s  Birthday, we had fried rice, chicken stir fry with vegetables, and fried rice.

 Period C: We cleaned up the kitchen and did the dishes. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness sitting.  

 Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim.

 Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle time. We did our daily Calendar activity.  We worked on our Weekend Journals. 

Period B: We went to the library where we returned our books and checked out new ones. Then Ms. Gillis read us a story about Yusef and his P.J.’s. 

 Period C: We delivered the Bluffs Monitor Community newspaper. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness sitting. 

 Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim.

Weather for Today: Sunny and Hot

  Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle time. We did our daily Calendar activity.  We went to our music class with Ms. Kim.

Period B: We went to No Frills to buy the groceries we needed to make tomorrow’s lunch.                           Tomorrow is a special lunch as Mr. Wilkens has invited some of his old students to come for an Alumni Lunch. We will be having Spaghetti with Halal Meatballs, Caesar Salad and Garlic Bread

  Period C: We went to the Community Kitchen and made meatballs for tomorrow’s lunc  We also made some Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Period D:  We cleaned the Community Kitchen. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness sitting.

Weather for Today: Hot and Sunny

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle time.We did our daily Calendar activity.  We completed some Numeracy worksheets. 

  Period B: We went to the library checked in our books and then chose new ones to check out. Ms. Gillis read us a story  about clean water for Aboriginal communities. Then we came back to our class where Mrs. Bullock-Charles helped us make a craft project for Thanksgiving.

 Period C: We went for a community walk. We filled in the Daily Report.  We had a Mindfulness sitting.

Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim.
