Weather for Today: Overcast and Warm…

  Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our daily Calendar activity. We did some Numeracy activities.        

 Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. Today we made pizza and Caesar Salad. 

Period C: We went back to the kitchen to clean up and do the dishes. We went for a Community Walk. We did the Daily Report. We had a mindfulness sitting.

 

Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim

Weather for Today: Sunny and Hotish…

 Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle time. We did our daily Calendar activity.  We completed some Numeracy worksheets. 

 Period B: We went the Art Room where began working on a ceramics project. We are making some Pumpkin  Tealite holders. Mr. Wilkens's daughter, Alyssa was with us doing some voluntary work and she helped us with our projects.

 Period C: We went for a community walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness sitting.

 

Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim. S. Kim was away today and we had Ms. Reid as our occasional Teacher.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle time. We did our daily Calendar activity.  We completed some Numeracy worksheets.

Period B: We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch. We had breakfast for lunch, or Brunch today. We made pancakes, French toast, bacon, halal bacon, sausage, hash brown potatoes, and scrambled eggs. For a beverage, we had Mango punch. It was delicious!

Period C: We cleaned the kitchen and washed the dishes. We filled in the Daily Report.  We had a Mindfulness sitting.

  Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had

Circle time.We did our daily Calendar activity.  We went to an assembly where we learned about Terry Fox and the Terry Fox Run that we will be doing on Tuesday next week.

Period B: We went to the library where we returned our library books and picked out some new ones.               Ms. Gillis read us two story books. One was about an indigenous bear and the other was about Residential Schools                                            

Period C: We went for a community walk. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness sitting.

   Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim.

Period B: We presented our Weekend Journals to the class. We did an exercise activity with Go Noodle

Period C: We went to the weight room and did some physical fitness activities. We filled in the Daily Report.  We had a Mindfulness sitting.

    Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We had Circle time. We went to the Community Kitchen to begin prepping our Lunch. Today we made Curry Chicken, Rice and Peas and Cole Slaw.

 Period B: We then went back to class where we did our daily Calendar activity.  We then completed a word search worksheet.

Period C: We went back to the Community Kitchen to clean up and wash the dishes. We filled in the Daily Report.  We had a Mindfulness sitting. 

 Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our daily Calendar activity.We did some literacy worksheets and then we played an Alphabet Game on Starfall.

     Period B: We went to the Art Room to learn about the rules and procedures that we will be following when we begin our Art activities next week. We then did a literacy activity “ All about Me."

 Period C: We went for walk on the school grounds. We filled in the Daily Report. We had a Mindfulness sit.

     Period D:  We went to our music class with Ms. Kim.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our Circle Time activity. We did our daily Calendar activity. We worked on Numeracy worksheets.

     Period B: We did a Yoga session. We watched part of a movie,         Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

       Period C: We filled in the Daily Report. We did a Body Scan Mindfulness sitting.

  Period D: We went to our Music class with Ms. Kim.

    Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our daily Calendar activity. We went to the Community Kitchen to prepare our lunch.Today we made Grilled Cheese sandwiches, Tomato Soup and Garden  Salad

                                                                                                         Period B: We finished up with the food preparation.

                                                                                                               Period C: We cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes. We went back to the classroom and filled in the Daily Report. We began to create a Kahoot quiz about cooking.We did not have time for our Community walk, but we did have time for a short meditation sitting.

Period A: We had our Mindfulness Minutes. We did our daily Calendar activity.

Period B: We did some Numeracy activities. Mr. Wilkens did some problems on the B.B. and then we worked on numeracy sheets.

                                                                                         

Period C: We went to the Community Kitchen where we Mr. Wilkens demonstrated how to make Smoothies.                                                   The Smoothies were delicious. We went for a walk around the school. It was VERY HOT !
